Who we are

Nanoswift Ltd is a UK-registered company (England and Wales), company number 16216561, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. We build and look after websites for small businesses. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZB874287. Information we collect

• If you enquire: the name, email, phone number, and message you send us through our site or by email.
• If you become a client: the business and contact details we need to build your site and run your care plan, and the payment details you set up with us.
• If we contact you first: where we reach out to a business about our services, we may hold publicly available business contact details (business name, a role, a business email or phone) so we can get in touch.

No cookies, no tracking

Our website does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To answer enquiries and provide our services (legitimate interest, and performance of a contract once you're a client).
• To reach out to businesses we think we can help (legitimate interest). If you'd rather we didn't contact you, tell us and we'll stop straight away.
• To take payment and keep proper business records (contract, and legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We use a few trusted providers to run the business:

• Stripe and GoCardless: card payments and direct debits
• FreeAgent: accounting and invoicing
• DigitalOcean and Namecheap: hosting and domains

Each only gets what it needs to do its job, and we never sell your data.

Access from outside the UK

Nanoswift is run from outside the UK. Where we access personal data from another country, we put the safeguards required by UK data protection law in place.

How long we keep it

We keep client and financial records for as long as the law requires, usually six years for tax. Enquiry and prospect details we keep only as long as they're useful, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email office@nanoswift.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
